Tales of fantasy, science fiction, and the strange.

Calsufer:

The dawn light shimmered over a city in ruin. The reddish gloom it cast fell over mounds of crumbling, stone blocks and steel structures that might as well been giant skeletal hands reaching for the sky. A smoking airship spiraled out of control toward these mammoth frames, and then exploded into a ball of fire. The debris rained down over the war-torn surface, and the ashes of the ship’s lone occupant settled among the thousands of others who perished here. Welcome to planet Calsufer.

Colton Asher's instincts had warned him of aiding a pair of female agents when they asked him for help finding a hidden alien colony on the planet's surface. But being stranded on Calsufer most of his life, he was willing to do anything for a chance to leave. All he needed to do was guide them in exchange for passage off the planet. Unfortunately, the women were not the only ones interested in the colony. A race of aggressive warrior people were determined to find it first, for rumors grew the mysterious aliens possessed technology that could revolutionize star travel. Colton quickly realizes his mistake getting involved when the entire planet comes under siege. And soon he discovers at the heart of it all lurks the one man that has made his life a living hell -- the man he believed murdered his father.

Echoes of the Forsaken:

Entombed beneath the ruins of an ancient city, a mystical orb awaits with an insatiable appetite for entrapping souls. A mysterious order has guarded it for over five hundred years, praying its ominous cravings remain suppressed. When the king of the Deviskari, an insular race shunned for their dark magic, discovers the tomb, he falls under the thrall of this sinister creation and then threatens to devour the souls of every living being in Morlanthea.

Deveryn never thought to return home after years of self-exile, that was, until Kehlyra, a woman who has loved him since childhood, pleads for help in stopping the infected king from waging war on the land. Apprehensive of confronting the wicked ways of his kinsmen, Deveryn reluctantly agrees and suddenly finds himself battling fierce creatures and malicious men, all in the pursuit of ridding the world of this hellish orb. But every choice has a consequence, and his decisions may end up condemning them all.

Mist of Frozen Sorrow:

A hellish plague looms over the Kulithian kingdom. One of the first to fall is the queen. Grieving over her death, King Mulgoren agrees to aid a mischievous goddess in an effort to bring his love back from the dead. All he must do is obtain an ancient relic from the mysterious witch folk. However, an invasion of bloodthirsty demons stands in his way, and when plans crumble, he questions whether or not he is just another pawn in a war that began over 500 years ago.

When this war between men and demons reaches a neighboring kingdom, the warrior Corsar discovers the souls of his wife and children are imprisoned in a sinister orb -- the infamous Soulcatcher. Brooding over his failure to protect them, he searches the land for a mystical horn that can destroy the orb and free the spirits within from eternal damnation. It is an indomitable task, for the horn belongs to an ancient god, and Corsar soon feels the shadow of death hanging over his shoulder.
